  • Girl child and women empowerment is an important aspect to the health and social development of families, communities and countries. Angaza Community Network has over the years ensured girls and women lead a safe, fulfilled and productive lives, enabling them reach their full potential.
  • Through our various programs, we have seen the girls and women we have empowered develop independence, get equal opportunities, and the ability to make strategic choices in all areas of their lives has been made possible. Education is one of the most powerful means available for providing girls and women with the knowledge, skills, and self-confidence they need to participate equally in society, where we draw down to the aspect of empowering young girls from various community schools.
  • Angaza Community Network has also created a platform where empowered girls and women get a chance to empower others to speak and express themselves, which also carries with it a responsibility to curtail negativity. By supporting girls and women, we can effect change. Those create more confidence, giving them a chance to start believing in their own power. Angaza Community Network feels more equipped to take on new challenges, for community sustainability, education, self-development and support.
  • Above all, all women leaders should make young women and girls believe there are no limits to what they can achieve. Let it be widely acknowledged that sustainable development cannot be achieved without investing in women and reducing the inequalities they face.
  • When women work, economies grow. Greater gender equality refers to equal opportunities to all sections of the society; it is associated with a country means a country with better health and education, inclusive economic growth, and greater international competitiveness.
  • Investing in women’s economic empowerment sets a direct path towards gender equality, poverty eradication and inclusive economic growth. Women make enormous contributions to economies, whether in businesses, on farms, as entrepreneurs or employees, or by doing unpaid care work at home, and this is why we are on the forefront to ensure women and girls get all the necessary information and knowledge, for their development.
